LOVE EATING HOT SOUP ......

Now you have to Choose one of the possibilities:

The world population can be divided between these two categories.

To which one do you belong?

This introduction is because i participated in a swap that was titled

"soup recipes". we had to share three recipes in some sort of a folder.

I've decided to put my recipes in a ring binder, and to make it in a shape

of a soup tureen.

Looking at the soup tureen that i inherited from my aunty Fela,

i drew a sketch, copied it on a recycled chipboard and coverd it with

a designed paper.

On the inner side of the front cover i've used a "stamendous" stamp

from the kitchen set , adding the name of the friend that it was sent to.

 

On the inner side of the back cover i've used a UNITY stamp from sep' KOM.

I made some inner recipes papers in a shape of the soup tureen,

but without  the lid.

I added a tag that i've stamped with another UNITY stamp from the FOLK INSPIRED set, and colored it with watercolour pencils, using a water brush.  

Since we were dealing with soup recipes, i added a package of "osem soup almonds" which is an israeli product, and is a must in the israeli kitchen when you are eating your soup .

and that is why  i warmly recommend it !

HI & SHALOM UNITY FRIENDS !

YES, IT'S FRIENDS WITH FLAIR FRIDAY FWF AGIN !

The sun is shining and it's 22 C outside you may say it's a great weather

but here in ISRAEL we desperately need some rain !

well lets get down to our business :o)) !

This week I took part in a swap of applique, each girl

had to send two fabric appliques to her partner.

As I always send my swaps with a card,

this time I've decided to make the card so I could

"hide" the applique swap inside the card.

I did some recycling by using the brown paper

that was wrapping one of the wood mounted stamps

that I recived from UNITY , this week.

I did some ironing since it was little bit wrinkled :O)) !

I tore it to the right size and did some stitching around.

Since one of my appliques was an owl

I've decided to use the owl & branch stamps from

june  KOM, and stamped it with cotton white stazon.
From the same kit i've found the perfect saying "friend to friend".

Two green blings as the eyes added some color to the card.

Some buttons and string completed the card.

PEEKABOO

I've glued the card leaving the top side open ,

so I could slide and hide the appliques inside.

כן,הגיע שוב יום שישי ואתו "הדילוג" בין הבלוגים

של החברות מיוניטי UNITY !

מי שרוצה לדלג בין הבלוגים תמצא את הרשימה המלאה

בבלוג המדהים והתוסס של UNITY !

השבוע השתתפתי בהחלפה שנערכה

בפורום אומנות הטכסטיל והליבוד.

ההחלפה נעשתה בין זוגות וכל אחת שלחה

לבת זוגתה שתי אפליקציות.

מאחר ואני תמיד נוהגת לצרף כרטיס להחלפה,

החלטתי הפעם להכין כרטיס כיס, שלתוכו

אוכל להכניס "ולהחביא" את האפליקציות.

על בסיס הכרטיס הדבקתי נייר חום שעטף

את אחת מחותמות העץ שקבלתי השבוע מיוניטי.

מאחר והנייר היה מקומט במקצת , הוא עבר גיהוץ !

חתכתי אותו לגודל המתאים בעזרת סרגל קריעה

ותפרתי במכונת התפירה מסגרת מסביב.

מאחר ואחת האפליקציות שלי היא של ינשוף

החלטתי לחזור על אותו מוטיב גם ע"ג הכרטיס.

השתמשתי בחותמת של ינשוף ובחותמת של ענף

ששייכות לקיט חודש יוני. החתמתי עם דיו סטאזון לבן.

שתי אבני בלינג ירוקות בעיניים הוסיפו קצת צבע לכרטיס,

ותוספת של כפתורים ומעט חוט השלימו את הכרטיס.

הדבקתי את הכרטיס בשלושת הצדדים כשאת הצד העליון

השארתי פתוח כפתח "למחבוא".

זהו זה להיום, תודה שקפצתן להציץ מאחורי הקלעים שלי!

MUSICAL CARD !

HI & SHALOM UNITY FRIENDS !

It's FWF and we meet again.

Today i've decided to make a card,

a musical card. i've used some real

vintage notes, that belonged to my aunty FELA

who was a pianist .

Browsing  my UNITY stamp folder

i chose the bird in the cage (sweet ZZZ'S), which looked perfectly

suitablel for the notes.

A "happy day"stamp from august KOM,  matched  the card.

I've used "Nestabilities" Labels one to cut the shape,

and "Cuttlebug" embossing folder -"Allegro".
And something colorful from me to you, a peace rainbow
to inspier your day and make it happy !

הגיע יום שישי ואיתו FWF של חברת יונטי UNITY .

החלטתי להכין להיום כרטיס מוסיקאלי. השתמשתי

בדפי תוים וינטאג' אמיתי, שיש לי מדודתי פלה שהייתה פסנתרנית.

בדפדוף בקלסר חותמות היוניטי שלי, החלטתי להשתמש בחותמת

הציפור בכלוב, שנראתה לי מתאימה מאד לתוים.

לחיתוכי הנייר השתמשתי בתבנית חיתוך של  Nestabilities Labels one

ובתבנית הבלטת תוים של "Cuttlebug" בשם  "Allegro".

לסיום משהו צבעוני ממני אליכן קשת בענן,בתקוה שתתן לכם השראה

ושיהיה לכם יום שמח וצבעוני !

BIG MOUTH !!

HI & SHALOM OVERSEAS & LOCAL FRIENDS !!

Todays LO is of my DD at age 3,at her grandparents.

wearing her grandpa's hat & eating grandma's snacks.

I did some distressing along the right side & a deep one at the top.

The title is in Hebrew and it  says " BIG MOUTH EATING EVERYTHING"!
You read Hebrew from right to left & it sounds like this:
"PE GADOL OCHEL HAKOL".

I did some doodling around the adges,

and added some dots around all the letters.

Some brads at the corner , added more dots to the LO.

I wrote the journaling , along the left side.

A stamp of a dog eating a bone, seems like

a suitable companion to this LO :o)) !!

היום הדף המעוצב שלי הוא של הנסיכה שלי ראהט

בגיל שלוש (היום היא כבר בת 14+), בביקור אצל

הסבא והסבתא שלה .צילמנו אותה בזמן שישבה ונישנשה

מהקופסה של סבתא כשלראשה הכובע של סבא.

נהנתי לקרוע את השוליים של הנייר וליצור קרע

עמוק יותר בחלק העליון. הוספתי דודלינג בעט שחור

בהקיף ובצד שמאל את הג'ורנלינג.

סוף סוף עשיתי כותרת בעברית וזאת בעזרת

אותיות מסול שרכשתי בכפר השעשועים.

הדגשתי את האותיות בעזרת נקודות קטנות מסביב.

חותמת של כלב לועס עצם נראתה לי כמתאימה

לנושא האוכל :o)) !!

The week have passed so quickly and 
it's FRIENDS WITH FLAIR FRIDAY agin !!

today i've made a LO of my DD's 3rd birthday.

I 've started by picking up the two photos and then the background cardstock.

inspired by the presents on the cardstock, i've decided to present

the photos as present boxes.paper frames surrounding the photos

and ribbons did the job.

I've used the flower UNITY stamp from sep' KOM,

to indicate the birthday date, adding green ribbons as foliage.

freehanded, i drew & cut an arrow,wich i stamped with

"go ahead WISH" from the same kit.

some purple blings "showed the way".

The title " only three" came to my mind, from

the last sentence in the song "save your kisses for me",

and it's suits perfectly the occasion !

for the title i've used white fabric "thickers",wich i inked

with the desired ink.
the three elements (flower, arrow & no "3")
were glued with 3 D .
I combine my LO with these challenges:
"creative card crew challenge"-challenge 35 Ribbon's & gem's.
"My time to craft challenge"- chalenge 84 so many scallops.
"Scrap. inspire. create."- Go MultiPix challenge.

היום כמו בכל יום שישי מתקיים ביוניטי  FWF .
את עיצוב הדף התחלתי מבחירת שתי התמונות שמתעדות
את הנסיכה שלי ראהט ביום הולדתה השלישי.
דף הרקע שבחרתי נתן לי השראה "להפוך" את התמונות ל"מתנות".
גזרתי מסגרות והחתמתי בדוגמה ואלה התלבשו מעל התמונה.
סרט צבעוני מעל והמתנה מוכנה !
חותמת יוניטי מקיט ספטמבר סיפקה לי את הפרח שמציין את תאריך היומולדת.
את החץ ציירתי וגזרתי באופן חופשי והחתמתי עם חותמת יוניטי (איך לא?)
האומרת "הביעי משאלה".כמה אבני בלינג סגלגלות "מראות את הדרך".
ההשראה לכותרת באה לי מסיום השיר ""save your kisses for me".
כפי שציינתי ברשומות קודמות, לעת עתה אני משתמשת באותיות בד לבנות
של "thickers" וצובעת אותם בדיו לפי הצבע שבחרתי.
הוספתי לכותרת גם את הספרה 3 שהדבקתי על עיגול סקאלופ,
שאת קצותיו תחמתי  בתפרים "תוצרת יד" ואבני בלינג בהיקף.
שלושת האלמנטים (הפרח, החץ והסקאלופ) הודבקו בהגבהה.
טיפ קטן, לפעמים אני נשארת ללא מדבקות ספוג מגביהות
ובמקום ,אני משתמשת בקוביות סול לבן שאני גוזרת ומדביקה
בעזרת "GLUE DOTS" , לאלמנטים ולדף הרקע.

IT'S FWF !!

HI UNITY FRIENDS !

Today is FWF , and i almost "skipped doing my homework" for the
FWF, but not me :o)), i sat down and did a quick card.

i'v used stamps from the october KOM.

i stamped them on a  cardboard which i took

from a shoebox.

idon't know how about you ,

but since i started scrapping i can't throw anything :o)) !!

i'v used some ice stickles to give some shine to the card.

A BOY IN PINK !

HI & SHALOM OVERSEAS FRIENDS !

this time i'm trying to play with my friend IRIT SHALOM'S challenge at her blog.

she wants to see a pink color in the project,but the catch is to combine her pink one, with maximum number of challenges , in one single project, and believe me it's not an easy task !

i picked up an old photo of my 3 rd DS sean, at age of two years,
and with my DM'S "help" finaly i "had" a daughter :o)) !!

today as a soldier, he is definitely not wearing a pink bow !!

i combined my LO with these challenges :

1) "BLACK WITH 2" - october challenge: colors black, white, pink +
    3 chipboard elements (in my LO the word BOY ) + ribbon.

2) "DANNI'S DREAMS" -flutter by wednesday challenge #79 :
     create with a butterfly or a fairy.

3) "ABC CHALLENGE" - F is for flying. ( in my LO the butterfly at the
     left bottom  ).

4) "PAPER CUTZ CHALLENGE" - challenge #13,

     making a project using a tag or tags.

    (in my LO at the right bottom, black and pink tags for journaling).

5) "CANDY SHOPPE DESIGNS" - think pink challenge,(since it is a
     breast cancer  awareness month) use a pink ribbon on your creation.

6) "MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES" - challenge #17

     clare  w's challenge. create anything but a card.

7) "PAPERPLAY CHALLENGES" - week 39 ,

      favourite   embellishment.

8) "CRAFTY CATZ"- challenge # 4 . colour combo:
     use black and white and one other color,
     also some ribbon and any other embellishments.

9) "FROSTED DESIGNS" - marquee challenge: use a marquee on a
      LO /card/project.

10) "SECRET CRAFTER" - challenge #54 : dig deep,
       and use an old stamp or image on your project.

11) "ILDI CO'S CREATIVE CHALLENGE" - challenge #3:

       in stitches. use some sort of  stitches on your project.

FIRST POST

Hi and Shalom unity friends & everyone else !

thank you for visiting my blog on my first post.

altough i have another blog, an israeli one, which unfortunately

is not so "friendly" with non hebrew speakers.

therefore & since i want to have communication with global village friends

i'v opend a blog here.

it's my first time on FWF, and it's all thanks to my dearest friend

ANAT -CRAFTY FAIRY. thanks to her i (and lots of israeli scrapers) discovered

UNITY stamps. she is using UNITY stamps in almost all of her works ,

and that's why i'v made this card to tell her:

" you inspire me"!!

i used some vintage piao notes, and i stamped  them with butterflies from the "bevy of butterflies"

with versacolor ink- passion fruit , and that's because the crafty fairy is a very colorful lady.

over them i glued butterflies which i'v cut & embossed  from a clear film with the cuttlebug.

and of course the quote " you inspire me" from july KOM.

this card goes well with these challenges:
1) "i can see clearly now"- daring cardmakers.
2) "Bling it on"- if the shoe fits.
3) "Bling it something"- stamp something
4) "it's so distressing"- charisma cardz.
