When i was going thru the photos

and i saw this one, i knew right away

how the LO is going to look like ! :o))

The background paper is My Mind's Eye

life stories "Frequency Grid"paper.

The second layer is Bazil's white cardstock

which i distressed by hand and with some

distress ink (tea dye).

The 3rd layer is a jute sack that my boys

brought me from their grandpa's warehouse.

I cut it to the right size and unraveled some fringes all around.

The photo matting is mad of three layers.

The white one is an architect's thick parchment ,

which i distressed with a ruler.

The other two layers are from a take away 

brown bag, that were also torn with a ruler

and distressed with the same ink.

At the left corner i add a wooden element 

and left it in its natural color.

The letters "S" for sister and "B" for brother

are Tim Holtz's "GRUNGEBOARD".

I colored them with GESSO and acrylic paint.

I stamped the letters on them to complete  the words

"sister & brother" and finally put some  diamond glazed.

The gorgeous flowers are hand made, 

and i learned to make them from a super talented friend

The two white flowers are made of white baking paper

distressed with a "tea dye" ink,

but the greenish one is made of brown silk paper 

which i found in a shoe  box, and distressed with a green ink.

I just fell in love with these flowers :o))!!

OWLWAYS IN MY HEART

HI & SHALOM UNITY FWF AND OTHER FRIENDS !

My card today is again a LOVE / VALENTINE theme.

The inspiration for this card , started with

La, La, Land challenge that said "No DP" 

no designer/decorative paper, only cardstock, 

and If The Shoe fits - with a color challenge "pink, red, white". I've used a white cardstock which i've dry embossed with Cuttlebug "Allegro" embossing folder.

The owl and the sentiment are UNITY stamps .

i've cut another pair of the owl's eyes and glued them with 

3D glue , adding two blings to them.

The owl's cardstock and the red cardstock beneath it

were cut with scalloped Nestabilities.

To thread the pink ribbon, i've used Fiskars punch.

To achieve a balance i added a pink ribbon at the top as well.

הכרטיס שלי היום הוא שוב בנושא אהבה / יום ולנטיין.

ההשראה לכרטיס הזה החלה עם האתגר של La,La, LAND  

 שקבעו שאין להשמש בנייר מעצבים או כל נייר מדוגם אחר,

אך ורק קארדסטוק! ועם האתגר של If The Shoe Fits 

שהוא אתגר של צבע שאמר "ורוד, אדום, לבן".

השתמשתי בקארדסטוק לבן שעשיתי לו הבלטה קרה בתבנית

ספר שקופה- "אלגרו" של "קאטלבאג". 

הינשוף והאמרה הם של חברת "יוניטי".גזרתי זוג נוסף של עיני

הינשוף, הדבקתי אותם עם דבק ספוג והוספתי שתי אבני בלינג.

הקארדסטוק הלבן של הינשוף והקרדסטוק האדום שמתחתיו

נחתכו בעזרת תבנית עם שוליים מסולסלים (scallop) של "נסטאביליטיז".

כדי להשחיל את הסרט הורוד, השתמשתי במחורר של "פיסקארס".

כדי להשיג איזון ,הוספתי סרט ורוד גם למעלה.

הכרטיס מתאים לכל האתגרים שקישרתי למעלה.

The week have passed so quickly and 
it's FRIENDS WITH FLAIR FRIDAY agin !!

today i've made a LO of my DD's 3rd birthday.

I 've started by picking up the two photos and then the background cardstock.

inspired by the presents on the cardstock, i've decided to present

the photos as present boxes.paper frames surrounding the photos

and ribbons did the job.

I've used the flower UNITY stamp from sep' KOM,

to indicate the birthday date, adding green ribbons as foliage.

freehanded, i drew & cut an arrow,wich i stamped with

"go ahead WISH" from the same kit.

some purple blings "showed the way".

The title " only three" came to my mind, from

the last sentence in the song "save your kisses for me",

and it's suits perfectly the occasion !

for the title i've used white fabric "thickers",wich i inked

with the desired ink.
the three elements (flower, arrow & no "3")
were glued with 3 D .
I combine my LO with these challenges:
"creative card crew challenge"-challenge 35 Ribbon's & gem's.
"My time to craft challenge"- chalenge 84 so many scallops.
"Scrap. inspire. create."- Go MultiPix challenge.

היום כמו בכל יום שישי מתקיים ביוניטי  FWF .
את עיצוב הדף התחלתי מבחירת שתי התמונות שמתעדות
את הנסיכה שלי ראהט ביום הולדתה השלישי.
דף הרקע שבחרתי נתן לי השראה "להפוך" את התמונות ל"מתנות".
גזרתי מסגרות והחתמתי בדוגמה ואלה התלבשו מעל התמונה.
סרט צבעוני מעל והמתנה מוכנה !
חותמת יוניטי מקיט ספטמבר סיפקה לי את הפרח שמציין את תאריך היומולדת.
את החץ ציירתי וגזרתי באופן חופשי והחתמתי עם חותמת יוניטי (איך לא?)
האומרת "הביעי משאלה".כמה אבני בלינג סגלגלות "מראות את הדרך".
ההשראה לכותרת באה לי מסיום השיר ""save your kisses for me".
כפי שציינתי ברשומות קודמות, לעת עתה אני משתמשת באותיות בד לבנות
של "thickers" וצובעת אותם בדיו לפי הצבע שבחרתי.
הוספתי לכותרת גם את הספרה 3 שהדבקתי על עיגול סקאלופ,
שאת קצותיו תחמתי  בתפרים "תוצרת יד" ואבני בלינג בהיקף.
שלושת האלמנטים (הפרח, החץ והסקאלופ) הודבקו בהגבהה.
טיפ קטן, לפעמים אני נשארת ללא מדבקות ספוג מגביהות
ובמקום ,אני משתמשת בקוביות סול לבן שאני גוזרת ומדביקה
בעזרת "GLUE DOTS" , לאלמנטים ולדף הרקע.
תודה שקפצתם להציץ מאחורי הקלעים שלי.

IT'S FWF !!

HI UNITY FRIENDS !

Today is FWF , and i almost "skipped doing my homework" for the
FWF, but not me :o)), i sat down and did a quick card.

i'v used stamps from the october KOM.

i stamped them on a  cardboard which i took

from a shoebox.

idon't know how about you ,

but since i started scrapping i can't throw anything :o)) !!

i'v used some ice stickles to give some shine to the card.
